The outer fabric is blue atlas (satin)\u00a0silk.<\/p>\n<p>The lining appears to be blue cotton. Interestingly, the garment is faced down the front with the same material as the outer shell, but the facing doesn&#8217;t continue along the lower hem.<\/p>\n<p>The garment is described as a ferace, but the fitted waist, extra-long, tight sleeves, and sleeve slits at the shoulders are distinctly un-feracelike.
