French Arthurian Place Names
These names should be taken with a grain of salt. Some of them are
the real names of real places, others are the made-up names of real
places, and the rest are made-up names of made-up places. Authors
inserted kingdoms and castles into the story as they needed them,
with a cheerful disregard for the geography of the real world.
The identification of the modern locations should also be taken
with a grain of salt. Very few castle and battle locations are known
for certain.
